Daniel Augustus Lemenuel Edgar Kobayashi was born in Patagonia, London, to goat herder and financial analyst John William, "The glass is half full", Ferrell and Mollie Elizabeth, "Just don't go there", King. He has three brothers, Paul, Chris and Robert.Kobayashi is known for his acting roles in comedy films, documentaries and as a part time stunt walker for Keanu Reeves. He is most well known for his top ten singles, "I have no idea what I am doing here, I just came to fix the PC" and the follow up single, "No seriously, I'm not a singer, someone just called me to fix the PC, why are you recording me?" As well and the international hit single "I am trapped in a recording studio, please let me out." Kobayashi has won numerous awards and was included in the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2020 and was named People's Magazine "Sexiest twins alive", with his brother and comedian, Paul Rudd.
After attending St Johns High School in Clapham, Kobayashi attended Oxford university, Gladstone college, majoring in Latin, Greek and Stunt Walking. It was here he would meet his comedic partner, Bill Hader, and the two would go on to forge successful comedic careers at Saturday Night Live and The Red lion at 49 parliment St. Kobayashi decided to keep his hand in the technology sector as a backup in case, as he put it, laughter is the best medicne but technology is worth two in the bush.
Kobayshi has had a successful career in entertainment starring in films such as What are you staring at? (2001), Why is everyone filming me? (2002), Anchorman, the forgotten years (2008), Thor's got an even bigger hammer and this time it glows (2014), starring with his younger brothers, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr.
He has received several Emmys for his radio and on broadway work, for the series "Cats!, Cats, CAAAAAAATS?" and his hit one man show "Street Lamp" highlighting the unfair treatment of the worlds street lamps.
Kobayashi was born without a head and often cites this as the key to his success. On the matter he said. "...."
